I had a lovely stay at Hotel Azul De Oaxaca, enjoying its charming aesthetic and great location. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing my experience. However, the air conditioning units in my room directed cold air right at the bed, which was a bit uncomfortable. and the water pressure in the shower could use some improvement.

Rooms

The rooms had a unique character, with our standard room featuring a larger window and a window seat, though the bathroom setup was somewhat cramped. Our Suite Dubon had a more spacious bathroom but lacked some comfortable seating options.

I had a great experience at Hotel Azul De Oaxaca overall, with its perfect location and unique design. However, I found some aspects of the service to be a bit hit-or-miss, and the soundproofing in the rooms could use some improvement.

The rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean, though I found the lack of privacy in the bathroom area and limited natural light to be a bit odd.

My stay at Hotel Azul de Oaxaca was largely enjoyable, thanks to the beautiful ambiance and great location. I appreciated the cozy feel of the hotel, but I did have some concerns about room lighting and sound privacy. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my experience pleasant overall.

Rooms
8.0
The room was cozy and clean with a blend of traditional Oaxacan style, though it could use more natural light. The lack of a door for the toilet area was a bit unusual, and the water pressure in the shower was weak. Overall, it was comfortable.
Service
9.0
The staff were super friendly and attentive, which added to the positive vibe of my stay. They offered helpful recommendations and served breakfast promptly, though I wished for a bit more special treatment since I expected VIP service.
Location

The hotel's location was perfect, just a short walk from the iconic Templo de Santo Domingo and the bustling center. I felt very safe walking around, even at night, enjoying the vibrant streets of Oaxaca.
Dining

Breakfast was truly sensational, with made-to-order quesadillas that I loved starting my day with. While the variety was good, I found it a bit limited in terms of choices, yet everything was tasty.
Facilities

The hotel offered nice facilities, including filtered water, lovely courtyard spaces, and a rooftop bar with a great view. However, I hoped for more substantial perks as part of their VIP member program.

My stay at Hotel Azul De Oaxaca was good, featuring beautifully designed suites by local artists and a peaceful atmosphere. The location was perfect—only a short walk to Zocalo—though the breakfast service could improve. Overall, I appreciated the attentive staff and unique ambiance, although minor issues like the hot water delay affected my experience slightly.

Rooms
8.0
I enjoyed my room's unique design, but the bathroom layout was a bit tight and finished with just a curtain, which felt odd. The large windows provided lovely natural light, although I wished for a second chair in the space.
Service
8.0
The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring a warm welcome and assisting with any needs I had. However, there were moments of communication challenges due to limited English proficiency.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located just blocks from Sto. Domingo Plaza and the vibrant Zocalo, making it easy to explore the city on foot. I felt safe walking around the area at night, which was a major plus.
Dining

Breakfast had plenty of fresh options, though it started a bit late for my early plans. I enjoyed the coffee and fruit, but there were limited choices when included with my stay.
Facilities

The hotel has useful amenities like loaner umbrellas and a cozy library, but the restaurant hours could be more accommodating. The overall aesthetic added to the boutique feel.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Azul De Oaxaca. The location was ideal—quiet yet just blocks away from the bustling historic center. The staff was friendly and attentive, always greeting me with a smile and offering tasty mezcal during check-in. The only downside was that my room felt a bit dark, making it hard to judge the time of day. Overall, it was a charming boutique hotel with beautiful rooms and lovely amenities. 🌟

Rooms
8.0
My room was beautifully styled with Oaxacan elements, but it was a bit dark due to shuttered windows. The shower setup was also a little awkward with just a curtain instead of a door, which I found strange.
Service
10.0
The staff were incredibly helpful and seemed genuinely happy to assist. They remembered my preferences, like my love for cafe mocha at breakfast.
Location
10.0
The hotel is in a great location, safe to walk around at night and close to key attractions. I felt comfortable exploring the area on foot.

Breakfast was included and really delicious, although the choices were somewhat average. Still, there were made-to-order options that stood out!

The amenities were nice, including complimentary chocolates at night and useful items like loaner umbrellas. Unfortunately, the study/library was occasionally unavailable for guests.
